Non Beauty Favourites

Hi guys!
-
This is my first non beauty favourites blog post and I don't really know why I have never done one before, because personally I love these posts.
-
I have 3 favourite fashion items at the moment. First is Topshop Leigh Jeans because they are so comfy and they fit perfectly. Second is a orange cami from Topshop which was on sale. It's a little thin, but they are good to wear with jeans, shorts and tucked into skirts. Finally I am loving my New Look fur hood parka. It's really warm and one of the cheapest fur parka's around at £30.

-
The film that I loved is 'Endless Love', which is a really sweet movie. I went to watch it with a couple of friends and I have to admit I did cry. There are a few TV series that I love at the minute. First is Modern Family, which is a TV show that I watch all the time and I love the story lines. I also am loving DCI Banks, which is a mystery drama with a story line that lasts for 2 episodes. My favourite song at the minute is 'Say Something' by A Great Big World.

Thanks for reading everyone and I hope you enjoyed this post! I will not be posting tomorrow but I will do a haul on Sunday.

Beauty Gift Advice

Hey everyone!
-
I know that you guys know that I have been budgeting recently, but what struck me today was that I haven't planned for friends birthdays. This is going to be difficult because I have planned everything to a T, even what I will have leftover after every trip. So I have a few birthdays all in adjascent months - Megans in April, Léa's in May, Ellen's in June, and then mine in July. There is the obvious choice of money in a card, but these are my beauty friends (they are just as obsessed with make up as me), so I wanted to actually get something meaningful. I have managed to fit in two MAC eye shadow's for Ellen and Léa, but I am putting in half for an eyeshadow for Megan as we are not too close. I am going to be giving you guys a few ideas of gifts for your friends, family, or anyone that you will be buying a gift for soon.
-
-
Lush Blooming Beautiful Gift Set contains two fragrant bath bombs - Think Pink and Pop In The Bath. This would be the perfect gift for a friend because it's pretty, compact and inexpensive.
£7.95
MAC Russian Red is the classic red lipstick that I decided to use for an example. I would give any of my friends a MAC lipstick because I think I would be luxurious and beautiful gift to receive. I love MAC lipsticks and if I got one for my birthday from I friend I would be very happy!
£15
Body Shop Mango Shower And Moisture Set is just one of the body shops 'Shower And Moisture' scents. They do other scents such as Coconut, and the ever-popular Moringa.
£6
Soap And Glory Clean Getaway is a great gift idea if you have friends that are going on holiday and have birthdays in July/August. It is packed with mini-favourites such as Hand Food and Clean On Me.
£10
MAC Eyeshadow In Naked Lunch is a really good gift colour for friends because it is a simple, classy and elegant colour. Especially if they are just starting out with MAC and this will be their first eye shadow, it's a solid, build-able base colour that can be worn on it's own, or with a few other colours.
£10/£12.50

I hope you guys all got some inspiration for gifts this year and find these products affordable and thoughtful.

Lifestyle: 5 New Aims

Hello everyone!
-
Today I am doing a lifestyle post which I haven't done for a while. I am trying to be a healthier, 'better' person. I thought I would just tell you guys a little bit about what I am doing in the evenings, at weekends, etc.
-
-
1. I am for the 3rd time now, trying to grow my nails. I have been trying really hard not to bite my nails because it is such a bad, unhealthy habit. I don't really bite my nails in stress, it's more when I'm bored, so I am just trying not to do this.
2. I am of course trying to drink more water because it's healthy, and it's good for your skin. I have been drinking only water and my aim is to stick to this.
3. Every night I have been coming home, changing, putting up my hair and doing some chores. I have been doing simple things like emptying the dishwasher, setting up the table, clearing the table, mopping floors, feeding pets, hoovering, polishing and walking the dog, etc. Just by doing this I have been earning money every month, and splitting it into money per two weeks. I have been budgeting this into two weekly shopping trips, so I get one-three products every 2 weeks up until the 21st of June!
4. After I do my chores in the evening, I have been doing a work out. This has basically meant I do 9 different exercises 30 times/for 30 seconds. I have things on my list like crunches, push ups, the plank and squats, etc.
5. Finally I have started studying every night. Because I have exams coming up in March I have been revising every night, with 2-3 topics per night. For most subjects I have things like revision books/pamphlets, so I will read through these and make notes, fill in booklets and do any home work I am set in the day.
-
Thanks for reading this post everyone and I would love to know some of your guys new aims. If I could give myself one piece of advice that I need to follow through with would be to go to bed at 8:30-9pm because it makes me so much more awake the next day!

Soft Hair For Summer Tips

Hi everyone!
-
As you guys can probably tell I am getting way too excited about summer as recently nearly all of my posts have been about summer, and I'm afraid there is another one today. I don't know about you guys but I have still got fairly damaged hair from the wind and rain/snow. I really love having long flowing hair in summer and I would say I am about half way to my dream summer hair - but for those of you that still have a long way to go, here are a few tips.
-
-
1. Argon Oil
Using oil on hair has become a big thing recently. There are products such as morrocon oil that are a the higher end of the market or there are oils from Primak that you can buy. I use an Elvive argon oil when I have damp hair on the ends of my hair and it has worked miracles.
2. Lather, rinse, REPEAT
I have just started repeating when I shampoo my hair because sometimes I would wash my hair and find that it was still a little oily. Repeating just helped really clean my hair through.
3. Try not to use heat on your hair everyday
I know for some people this will be impossible because they don't like their nataural hair, but I am slowly reducing the amount of heat I use on my hair. I still use protection spray, but use straighteners say 3 times a week. Doing this will hopefully stop me getting anymore split ends and frazzling my hair so it's damaged for summer.

Mothers Day Gift Advice

Hello everyone!
-
As you all know, mothers day is coming up very soon and I am sure I told you guys what I was thinking of buying my mum (a Tom Ford lipstick). I actually struggled with this because mums are pretty difficult to buy for, especially my mum as she knows what she likes, and likes what she knows.
-
-
Philosophy Thank You Gift Set is a beautiful set from Philosphy, which is becoming one of my new favourite brands. Their raspberry scented products are amazing and comforting, offering sweet fruity scents and nourishing products at the same time.
£18
Tom Ford Spanish Pink Lipstick is the gift I will be giving my mum this year as I have heard rave reviews about it from one of my favourite beauty bloggers, Liza Prideaux. She looked gorgeous with this lipstick on, because it is the perfect balance of classy nude and skin tone enhancing pink.
£36
Miss Dior Perfume is my new favourite scent after smelling it in a Boots store the other day. It is the perfect scent with notes of mandarin orange, rose and amber.
£67.50
MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow Duo In Joy And Laughter is a lightweight, colour rich coordinating shades baked together to experience the mineralize properties. MAC is becoming well known for it's mineralize ranges like their Mineralize Skin Finish.
£17
Lush Legends Set is the most expensive gift in this collection but it is an amazing group of Lush's most well known products including favourites such as the Rockstar Soap, Butterball Bath Bomb and the Bubblegum Lip Scrub.
 £100

I hope you all find something lovely this mothers day as a gift or just to treat yourself. Have a lovely day.

Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag

Hello everyone!
-
Today I was on my blog feed and came across The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag posted by Emily from Beauty Broadcast. I thought it would be fun to do this tag, so here it is!
-
1. Name a beauty regime you rarely do?
I really should use lip liner more because I think that it makes your lips look really full and complete however I rarely do.
2. Is washing your make up brushes something you do regularly?
I am going to be really honest here and say it's not. I should really wash them more often but I can never seem to find a right time because before I do my make up is when I realise that they are dirty but then I have no time for them to dry before I do my make up, so no.
3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
Unless I am going out somewhere, I can last quite a while because it doesn't really bother me. I am trying to grow my nails at the minute so they are really uneven, but I guess if I had really nice long nails I would keep on top of it.
4. How long will you put off replacing a product, even if you really need it?
If it's something like a foundation/concealer, I buy it again either the day I run out of it or the next, because I can't live without that (unless I have a back up - which I usually do), but if it's something like an eye shadow or a blush then I will put it off for quite a while.
5. What is your worst beauty habit?
I would say applying too much concealer. I have pretty bad dark circles but I overload on concealer a lot, then I don't realise for ages.
6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?
I never keep my room tidy so I would say cleaning my room. It always seems to take forever because I get pre-occupied all the time!
7. Can you commit to spending bans?
I would say I can because if you guys have read some of my most recent posts then you will know that I am doing a beauty shop every 2 weeks, I'm not sure if this is really a ban, but I have been doing well so far.
8. How organized are your make up and nail polish collections?
My make up organization has gone dramatically down-hill because I seem to just shove everything in a draw, but my nail polish collection is pretty good, I just tend to leave one or two lying around every now and then.

Summer Lipsticks

Hello everyone!
-
Sorry for not posting for a few days, it has got pretty busy! Anyway I am back now and I am bringing to you guys another kind of holiday type post, this time focusing on lipsticks!
-
 -
So down there at the bottom is Creme D'Nude. I think that everyone needs a summer nude and this one is such a classic colour from MAC which is a beautiful lip shade with pink undertones.
The next shade up is Saigon Summer which is a more coral shade of Morange. Everyone loves a good orange lip in summer and this lipstick is the perfect blend of orange and coral.
Coral Bliss is another classic shade for summer with a lifting tone of pink and red. This is on the top of my summer shopping list because it is perfect for all occasions - either by the pool, or in the evening.
Morange is MAC's classic summer shade that every girl needs for a summer holiday. It's usually sold out online, but it's almost always available in stores!
Russain Red is my go-to lipstick for an instant pick me up in the evening. It boosts the skin tone and makes a white bodycon dress pop with a tan.

I hope you guys liked this post and this has been one of my favourite posts to write!

Brands I Would Love To Try

Hello again everyone!
-
This is my 3rd post today and I will be talking about some brands that I have never tried but would love to!
-
-
I walked into a Jo Malone shop today and tested out a few scents such as pomegranite noir, and blackberry and bay and I have to say I was sat in the car on the way back smelling my wrists because not only had the scent lasted for about 3 hours, it also smelt amazing!
Butter London is a nail polish brand that has the most lovely packaging ever! It has every colour under the sun in a thick polish that looks luxurious!
Ren Skincare is a new brand I have heard about from Tanya Burr on one of her videos where she raved about the Ren lip balm.
Tom Ford is a luxury brand that tempts me so much, and I think I will be buying my mum a Tom Ford lipstick for mothers day because I know that they are some of the most luxurious products.
Clarins is a brand that one of my closest friend raves about and she loves it, however for some reason I have never been attracted to this brand but I would love to give it a go!

The Beauty Scenario Tag

Hello guys!
-
I will be doing the beauty scenario tag today after being tagged by the lovely Sienna!
-
1. If you had to get rid of all your foundations and only keep one high end and one drugstore, which would you keep?
This one was pretty easy for me because I have very clear favourites when it comes to foundation. My high end foundation would be Bobbi Brown because it has been my favourite high end foundation for a few years now, and my drugstore foundation would be No7 because you can't beat it for full coverage all day long.

2. You go for an interview and the lady interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth - Do you approach the situation or ignore it completely?
I would definatley not tell her because if she was very unapproachable she might take offence to it and because I am a not a confrontational person I would find it very awkward if she did take offence to it.

3. Your not quite feeling yourself and you need a pick me up - which lipstick would you wear to make yourself feel beautiful?
I would without a doubt go for MAC's Creme Cup because it's a pretty nude with a splash of baby pink which is a real pick me up.

4. You go back in time to your early teens - how would you do your hair and make-up differently?
Oh my gosh when I was about 12/13 I just piled on powder and attacked my lashes with a cheap mascara then occasionally wore a dark pink lipgloss. I also had an abundance of baby hair and because I hated my hair I would scrape it back and wear a plastic headband then my baby hair would be stuck up in the air, it was not a good look! I would just wear less powder and a baby pink lipgloss with maybe a little mascara and blush, then straighten my hair and clip a side bit back to minimise the baby hair.

5. You ask your hairdresser for a shoulder length Pixie Lott-esque hairstyle but they mishear and give you a pixie crop instead. Do you a) smile, say thanks and leave calling your mum hysterically crying? b) cry in the chair and things get awkward? c) Complain to the manager and and ask for refund?
I would probably smile, say thanks and leave calling my mum crying because I am really bad at confrontation as I said earlier so I would just thank them through gritted teeth, as I have many time before at the hairdressers!

6. Your friend surprises you to a trip to New York - which 'do it all' palette would you take?
I'm guessing this is an eye palette so I would take the Naked basics palette because it has all the colours you need in a small compact palette that allows you to wear subtle nudes in the day and a dramatic smokey eye in the evening.

7. Your house is robbed! Which of your beauty products do you first check that haven't been stolen?
I would first check that non of my MAC stuff was gone like my palette, paintpot, powder, etc. because they are my favourite, most used products1

8. Your friend borrows a beauty item but returns it in awful condition. Do you a) pretend you haven't noticed? b) say something and ask her to repurchase it? c) do the same to her?
I would actually do the same to her! That's a little rude but I do enjoy a bit of revenge every now and then, especially it was something that I used a lot or a high end product!

I really loved doing this tag and I will be posting later a 'Brands I Would Love To Try' post, also follow me on twitter for regular updates when I post! - @allsparklesbeauty

New Beauty Releases!

Hey everyone!
-
I am doing my second 'new releases' post because I am pretty excited about some of new beauty releases at the moment! This will be my first of 3 posts today because I was recently tagged in the Beauty Scenario tag which I am pretty sure was created by the gorgeous Lily Pebbles. Also I will be writing a 'Brands I Would Love To Try' post, including brands like Ren and Jo Malone.
-
-
Moroccan Oil will be bringing out a body buff on the 1st of April which I am very excited for as I am sure it will just a nourishing as the hair products!
Diptyque have ventured out of their home fragrance range to bring out this moisturizing lotion along with other skincare products.
After Kate Moss teamed up with Rimmel and brought out her famous Kate Shade 1 lipstick, which is still popular with beauty addicts today, and now Rita Ora has followed in her footsteps bringing out new shades in their best-selling 60 second nail varnish range. She has gone for pop art packaging and named the shades her self using names like 'Oragasm' and 'Rita Rouge'.
Essie has been big on the NYC runway which rewards the UK with a new collection and my favourite shade from this collection, Resort Fling, is absolutely gorgeous!
Deborah Lippmann has brought out a new collection from the TV show 'Girls' which has become one of the newest popular shows. My favourite colour by far is the pale pink because it reminds me of the Tanya Burr colour 'Mini Marshmallows' and it's a pretty spring colour.

Celebrity Make Up I Admire

Hello everyone!
-
Unless you're living under a rock, you must have seen/heard about the BAFTA's, which were on last night. I loved the speeches and the dresses, but most of all I loved the make up. This year  I think most focused on the minimalist make up, oozing elegance and sophistication. The celebrities that attended are not the only people that have a style that I admire, there are a lot more celebrities, so today I will be stating a few of my favourites and why.
-
-
Angelina Jolie looked absolutely stunning last night. She went for a look of effortless make up with flawless skin and a nude lip then strong eyeliner and eye lashes and her hair was soft and lightly tousled.
Cate Blanchett is classically beautiful. Her face has such a strong bone structure which is always complemented with a blush, as displayed last night when she sported a coral blush and a coral lip, then kept the eyes simple to show off her bright blue eyes. She looks extremely young for 44.
Gwyneth Paltrow is my idol when it comes to make up. She can pull off flawless nudes and striking reds and her platinum blonde hair always looks in place.
Alexa Chung is an idol for many girls these days. She wears a minimal make up but when she does she always knows how to complement her bone structure and face shape. I adore her hair as it always looks full and voluminous.
Caroline Flack was the person I showed my hair stylist when I got it cut and coloured because I think her hair is absolute perfection. Her make up is always effortless but she still looks gorgeous with a red/coral lip. I love her eyes as well because she has strong full lashes.
-
Comment your guys celebrity make up inspiration and thanks for reading! I will be posting tomorrow and maybe doing a haul.

Work Experience?

Hello everyone!
-
I am in year 10 now and in October I will be doing my work experience. By then I will be in year 11 but I want to organize my placement now so that when we leave school in July for the summer holidays I will have a secure place. Because I am a lover of all things cosmetics from blush to bath bombs I have decided to explore the beauty market. Instead of going for a position in Boots which I am lead to believe is office based, I wanted to go for a counter somewhere like the local John Lewis, Debenhams or House Of Fraser. Because I don't want to do the work on my own, one of my closest friends Léa decided that she would be interested in this also so we both contacted John Lewis. Basically we are having a meeting with our school's work experience director in a weeks time about this position. Anyway enough about me and more about how you guys (if you are starting to consider work experience or your children are) can work on getting the placement you want.
-
I would say you should start looking for a placement early. If you are unsure what you want to do or where to go, go somewhere you think you will enjoy yourself or somewhere that reflects your personality. For example I would say John Lewis would be my preferred place because it's not only somewhere I like, it's also somewhere that I shop regularly.
Next my advice would be to have a CV written up and make sure it reflects who you are and big yourself up no matter how cheesy it may sound. And finally get in touch with your work experience director to see if they have any positions you are interested in, and even though to tell the truth my school has nothing much in terms of make up artistry, your school might offer more than you think.
-

-
The bottom line is not a lot of high end brands are willing to take on a bunch of 15 year old girls and trust their brand with them, but you can find work in department stores with make up counters that can give you a good weeks worth of experience not just to put on your CV, but to also give you an insight into the working world of cosmetics! Thanks for reading and I will be updating regularly on my progress and then document my experience for that week in October. I was also considering doing a little giveaway in October so you can get involved in that in the future!

Spring Make Up Products

Hey everyone!

-
Back to front - MAC Studio Fix Powder, Dior Show Blackout Mascara, 2True White Eyeliner, Maybelline Naked Beige Eyeshadow, Sleek Blush Life's A Peach, No7 Stay Matte Foundation, Collection Concealer Shade 1 Lasting Perfection, Lancome Lipstick Shade 308.
Back to front - Maybelline Naked Beige eye shadow, No7 Beautifully Matte foundation shade calico, Collection Concealer shade 1, and Lancome Lipstick shade 308.
No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation, Collection Shade 1 Lasting Perfection Concealer, Lancome Lipstick Shade 308.
Dior Show Blackout Mascara, 2True White Eye liner
The Body Shop Moringa Body Mist

-
I apologise for not being able to see the white eyeliner, it wasn't showing up too well. I will probably do a post later without any pictures on the topic of work experience because I know a lot of students involved in beauty find it difficult to know what to do exactly.

Sleek Life's A Peach Blush Review

Hi guys!
-
Today is the start of my half term holidays which last for a week which means I will have more time to post, and whenever I have more time I like to post reviews as I have more time to take pictures of products. Today I saw a gorgeous Sleek blush called 'Life's A Peach' which is a lovely peachy orange colour that's matte. It's easy to apply and wear which I am very much looking forward to doing so on holiday. I'm sure I told you guys that I have been doing a little summer beauty plan where I will be buying 1-3 products every 2 weeks up until the 21st of June which is about 2 weeks from my birthday. This way I will have all the products I need for holiday in time. This was one of the very first products I wanted and it cost £4.49 from Superdrug so it was very cheap. I applied it as soon as I got home with a Real Techniques Powder Brush and it immediately looked peachy and fresh. With a highlighter it will look perfect by the pool with a coral lipstick or for a meal out with MAC Morange.
-

 -
I would really recommend this blush for all year around because it's a gorgeous texture and a gives a peachy flushed look that stays on for hours. If you are like me and have quite fair skin you could still use a pinky blush over the top of the blush that could be applied lightly in the hollows of the cheeks. Don't forget to follow me on twitter! - @allsparklesblog and tweet me!

La Roche-Posay Effeclar Duo Review

Hello everyone!
-
I'm sure I told you guys but I brought a La Roche-Posay moisturiser recently and I used it for a while when I had drier skin but then after it cleared up I went back to using my Bobbi Brown moisturiser again. I loved the brand so much that I really wanted to try out some more of their products. Because I'm 14 I'm very prone to spots and I had been getting quite a few under skin spots which were visible up close. Tanya Burr recommended this product as did many of my friends and I thought why not. I used this product once and the next day all my under skin spots had gone. I thought this was a one of experience and it might just be that one time it worked so well, so I tried it again when I got a spot on my forehead towards my hairline. It came up on Tuesday and today it's gone. I put on the cream every night and it came and went all in three days. This is one of my new favourite products not just to get rid of spots, it also reduces size and redness of spots, and unclogs pores. I couldn't recommend this enough for people with oily skin, dry skin, combination skin and sensitive skin it suits everyone. If I had to say one negative thing about this product it would have to be the smell. I can't really describe it because I'm really bad at describing scents but if I tried I guess I would say it smells natural but kind of chemically.
-

-
Thanks for reading and I would definitely recommend this product it works a treat and it works quickly. I use it every night applying it to my skin in a thin layer all over my face and a little more over any problem area's.
-

Spring Blush

Hey guys
-
I am going to be writing a spring blush post today after getting some much needed inspiration from miss Tanya Burr's latest video, but I did not totally agree with her look. The only thing I would change is using a different blush. Tanya used the Coralista blush from Benefit which I do love, but I would say for a spring make up look I would have used the Dandelion blush and maybe a lighter bronzer too because Tanya used the Nars Laguna bronzer. Anyway sorry for rambling but after watching Tanya's video I wanted to offer a selection of spring blushes.
-
-
Benefit Dandelion Blush is one of the most well known spring blushes on the market. It's pale pink colour gives a natural glow and a little bit of shimmer brightening any spring make up look.
Sleek Pixie Pink Blush looks like a super bright hot pink colour in the pan but trust me when you apply it, it becomes a faint shade of baby pink a lot like the MeMeMe blush I reviewed a while back.
MAC Mocha Blush has peachy undertones which are perfect for people with slightly darker skin tone as it can be used to give dimension to the face and a flush of pink for pretty, spring make up.
Seventeen Rosy Summer Blush is one of my favourite drugstore blushes ever. Seventeen offer a range of smooth, shimmery, pigmented blushes and Rosy Summer is one of the best shades for me. This blush could be used well into summer and maybe even the start of autumn depending on your skin tone.
Estee Lauder Mauve Mystique is slightly darker than the rest of the blushes with kind of more purple undertones. Estee Lauder blushes are a perfect texture and they give the perfect look for a sunny spring day (which doesn't seem very likely in the UK at the moment).
-
So I have including a wide range of blushes from £4.99 to £25.00 so I hope you see something you fancy and my personal favourite from this bunch is the Benefit Dandelion blush because when I think of a spring blush the first one I think of is this Dandelion blush, however the Seventeen blush is a close second!

Make Up Wipes: Do Or Don't?

Hello everyone!
-
I am very pleased to finally be doing this post because there are so many negative connotations associated with make up wipes and I wanted to give my personal opinion on these products.
-
So I preformed a pretty complex skincare routine a while back where I used 4-6 products each time and this really did not work for my skin (this is not to do with my skincare regime post, this is a routine I did a while a go) so I actually went back to using make up wipes. By this point I had a few spots in area's such as my forehead and chin. After using the wipes for about 3 weeks my skin cleared up well and I was really happy with it. I have recently started using them again because I find they work really well. I know that most people warn staying away from these products but I think it depends on your personal experience with them. I actually love them and this might be because of the brand that I use or because my skin is young and not too sensitive.
-
So in conclusion personally I love make up wipes - they are a quick simple skin cleanser when it's a late night and your ready to just get into bed, or you want to remove traces of dirt from your face in the morning they are great.
-
Thanks for reading everyone and I might post later if it isn't too late because this was sort of a mini post that I just wanted to write quickly!

Summer Beauty Product Wishlist

Hey everyone!
-
I have been really excited recently because instead of being my usual lazy self and expecting my parents to buy me the beauty products that I want to try, I have started doing chores around the house which is earning me £40 a month, so £20 every two weeks which is actually quite a lot compared to earning £0 a month.I actually don't mind doing chores because to be honest emptying the dishwasher, walking the dog, etc is pretty easy. So anyway because I have been earning a little extra cash I have been writing a lot of lists about what I will be buying for my summer holiday this year and any products I have in May will be used in my spring holiday as well. I have quite a wide range of products that I have scheduled to buy from shower gel to sunglasses.
-
-
Real Techniques Starter Set is a great kit for eyes because they are simple to use, light and can be used for a range of things - not just what they say to be used for.
Real Techniques Core Collection is another great kit to take on holiday because the brushes are again light, easy to use and they can be used for a range of products.
MAC 217 Brush is a blending brush that I really have wanted for a while since I bulked up my MAC eye shadow collection and don't have a proper blending brush to use.
Real Techniques Setting Brush is a brush that I want to use for a highlighter because I saw Tanya Burr use this brush for highlighter on one of her video's.
New Look Classic Gold Pilot Shades are a pair of the nicest, cheapest pilot shades I have ever seen. I really want a pair of these because last holiday I saw loads of people wearing them and I think pairing them with a floaty kaftan and bright pink nail would look amazing by the pool.
Barry M Nail Varnish In Cyan Blue is a stunning sharp blue colour that I think will be perfect for summer. The brightness of the blue contrasting with maybe a white bikini would be really pretty.
Naked Palette 3 is a palette that I think would be perfect for a holiday because the rose gold colours and the colours that would be perfect for a smokey eye means that you can use one palette for a range of looks instead of a bunch of palettes for 2 looks.
Topshop Glow Highlighter is also a product I have wanted for a while and because I have the Real Technique setting brush on my wishlist to apply it. Also a shimmery highlight with a bronzer, peachy brush and coral lipstick would be an amazing holiday look.
Body Shop Raspberry Body Butter is still on offer I think for £5 which is an amazing offer but also the raspberry scent is such a fruity summer scent which stays on your body for ages!
Sleek Pressed Powder In Shade 1 looks like it would be the perfect bronzer for me because I have really fair skin so bronzing my skin can be a pretty difficult task but this powder is quite dark so hopefully it will work as a bronzer.
MAC Coral Bliss Lipstick is a beautiful peachy coral lipstick that I think is a beautiful colour for summer which can be worn with a range of colours and clothes from an evening out with a rose gold smokey eye or by the pool with minimal make up.
MAC Morange Lipstick is the summer shade that everyone wants to get their hands on before August. Hopefully I will manage to track one down soon because I really need this colour if I get a tan this year.
Barry M Bright Pink Nail Varnish is a colour that I have never really tried before but I would love to because my friend Meg has a similar colour from Essie that I adore!
MAC Peaches Blush is a colour that I have loved for ages since my MAC addict friend Lea brought this blush and showed me it. It was love at first sight.
Philosophy Fluffy Cupcake Shower Gel is a product that I am sure I have featured in a post before but I seriously can't get enough of this scent. It really isn't a seasonal scent and because it's such a huge bottle hopefully it will last me all year.
Lush Cupcake Face Mask will hopefully refresh my skin when I'm abroad with the mint notes that I has but also comfort my skin in a hot bath in Autumn.

Sleek Blushes

Hey guys!
-
I feel like I have been doing quite a few posts focusing on high end brands recently so I am going for a cheaper brand today - Sleek. I love Sleek but I am always a little stuck for choice when I am stood at the Sleek stand in Superdrug and it ends up a bit of a pressure buy (buying the first product you see), so today hopefully I will give not only myself some much needed inspiration but also you guys!

Life's A Peach is my favourite colour in this collection of blushes because it could be used as a bronzer if you have fair skin like myself or blush and I think it would look lovely with a tan on holiday or if you have naturally more tanned skin then it would look lovely too.
Pixie Pink is a beautiful spring colour a little like Nars Desire and Benefit Dandelion. I love the colour that you get with this blush because sometimes with blushes like this can lack in colour but this blush exceeded my expectations as it gives a natural solid pink sheen.
Rose Gold is another one of my favourite Sleek blushes because of the stunning sparkle that it has. It would probably suit darker skin than fairer skin because it has red undertones.
Antique is a beautiful plum colour that again I think would suit darker skin tones. It also has similar sparkle like 'Rose Gold' has.
Pomegranate is a beautiful dark reddy/pinky colour that would look amazing in autumn with a berry lipstick and MAC's Cranberry on the eyes. I think this would be a really striking colour if you have fairer skin and a soft colour if you are tanned.

Thanks for reading and I hope you all get some inspiration from this post and find a blush that you like. Sleek blushes are all excellent quality and they have beautiful packaging similar to Nars.

Essie Spring Colours

Hello everyone!
-
I am doing another nail varnish post today because I am really into all these spring colours at the minute. Essie is a brand that I love but I really don't have the money to spend £7 on a nail varnish - and that is the main reason I go to Barry M instead, but if I could spend this money on the nail paints then I would. I have 2 spring colours from Essie already but I really would love some more so here are a few of my favourites.

Barbados Blue is not really a spring colour but it's still a really nice cool blue colour that I think would look really contrasting with some white skinny jeans.
Mint Candy Apple is a colour that I have wanted for a while because it's a really pretty mint green colour a lot like a colour I brought from Barry M recently featured in one of my hauls I did a while ago.
Van D'Go is a light, peachy-pink nail varnish that is a little pinker than Peach Melba which is a similar colour from Barry M.
Go Ginza is a soft cherry blossom colour that represents luxury and class in a blend of baby pink and cool lilac.
Lilacism is an elegant and enchanting lilac colour that's a really pretty soft colour.
