Review: Forever 21 Liner Brush

Happy Friday everyone!
-
As you all know by know I went to the Bull Ring in Birmingham yesterday and in Forever 21 there were some make up brushes so I got the foundation and the liner brushes. I wanted to do a reviews of the liner brush one because I never do reviews any more and two because there are loads of liner options out there and I wanted to give my review of this one. I am going to compare this brush with a brush that comes with the 2True liquid liner which is from Superdrug.
-
The brush is really small so it gets a really precise line and also it is flat to you can easily apply more or less to your preferred style. I dip the tip of the brush into my  eye liner pot so I can easily apply it instead of tipping it out. The actual brush looks a little plain I mean the handle is just plain black with the word 'liner' written on it in small capitals on it that look like a font on Pic Monkey!
This is comparing the two looks using different brushes. So the first look is with the provided brush with the eyeliner. As you can tell the line is very thick because getting a precise line without poking your self in the eye with this brush is very tricky. However with the small Forever 21 brush you get a very precise line and a good point. Also it's very effortless to draw!
So in conclusion this brush makes applying liquid eye liner very simple and you get a good wing as well. I prefer using this brush to the provided brush just because it's better quality and also feels better on my eye.

Thanks for reading lovelies and comment your favourite brush to use for liquid eye liner! Love Claudia

My 'Uncertain Lazy Day' Make Up Routine

Hello everyone!
-
If your like me and love a good 'lazy day' then you probably will have experienced those lazy days when your in your joggers with no make up on then some one turns up or you have to go out somewhere, with NO make up on! So from now on I wear my uncertain lazy day make up. It's really basic and this is what I find works for me!
-

This is my Magic primer by prescriptives. I brought this ages ago literally ages and ages ago but I love it to be honest. It is meant to be illuminating and it really is. I can't believe they discontinued selling these because I adore them. Most products like this are fake and they don't do what they say they will but with this I trust it 100%. When I wear this primer my skin looks radiant, glowing and shimmery and it is a really smooth base for foundation. So with my routine, I put this on first and then I literally just leave it, no foundation over the top. That probably sounds strange but I find it still looks fab.
After popping on my primer/foundation type product I apply some light bronzing powder with a very large fluffy brush.. The bigger the brush the softer the bronzer will look and because this is just very subtle make up I normally just sweep this across my whole face with a big brush. This one is from MAC and it is just their face bronzing powder. I have no idea what colour this is but as you can see I have hit pan which is very upsetting.
I can't physically leave the house without applying my Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer. Concealer is such an important step in my make up routine for me because for some reason I have really bad dark circles and I think a combination of both a mum and dad with bad dark circles is the answer. This concealer is pretty great, I mean it highlights under my eyes really well to give a literal woken up finish but the coverage isn't great.
Finally I finish up with a Maybelline Baby Lips in pink punch. Everyone loves Baby Lips as do I because the colour and moisture is great! I have talked about these before though in my 'Favourite Lip Balms' post so check that out.
 -
So leave me a comment below if you ever have these days! I love these products so much and they are my basic products I have to wear to feel comfortable leaving the house! See you in my next post lovelies, Love Claudia

Would You Rather Beauty Edition Tag

Happy friday everyone!
-
After I got into the tag spirit yesterday I really wanted to do another one so when I got tagged for this I got really excited and I really love playing would you rather so I decided to to have a go at this tag!
-
1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
This one is really easy for me! I would much rather lose all my mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lip glosses. I have never been a big lipstick lover I much prefer a good MAC eyeshadow palette and I wouldn't lose mine for the world!
2. Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
I would much rather never be able to cut it again after one terrible hair cut two years ago that left me with an uneven shoulder length bowl cut. Worst mistake of my life.
3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
This is pretty difficult because I like to wear both I suppose but it depends on the season. In spring and winter I think a pop of colour really brightens the look, however in summer and autumn I prefer a coral cheek because it's warm and summery.
4. If you had £1,000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
I would of course buy make up. This is such a no brainer for me because I just can't quite get as excited about buying clothes. I would still love to have a massive shopping splurge in Urban Outfitters but buying everything in MAC gets me much more excited!
5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick?
I would probably say eye liner as lipstick because it would be more precise and at least I would have brown lips not a pink lash line!
6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
Because I live in the UK I'm pretty sure that we don't have Sephora over here but even if we did I would still say MAC. My love for MAC is unreal and there is not one product I don't like, literally not one. I love every product they sell and I think they are all amazing quality and a fantastic range of colours. I could literally talk about MAC all day!
7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
As you can tell from this tag lipstick isn't all that important for me. I feel like very particular colours suite me and I could live with using MAC blankety for the rest of life, unlike with eyeshadow I love experimenting with colour and brands and techniques and brushes! I just love eyeshadow and even thought I kind of play it pretty safe I am trying to introduce more colour!
8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in the summer or summer clothes in the winter?
This question is really hard because in England we have really weird weather and some summers it will be freezing cold and winter will be fine, then other times summer will be crazy hot and then winter will snowing like mad. I guess I would go with winter clothes in summer because there have been more cold summers than hot!
9. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
I would have dark nails all year round. I love like really dark purples and greens and reds I just think they are the nicest colours and even in spring you can wear dark blues and greens and I guess it would look alright?
10. Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
This is such an obvious question for me! I would of course live without nail polish. I love make up and how it can totally change how some one looks. I love how confident it can make you feel no matter what you think. My skin isn't perfect, no one's is and everyone wants to change something about themselves. Make up gives you the opportunity to do this and love your skin again!
-
Bit of a deep answer at the end there! Sorry about the huge lump of writing I have thrown on this page as well, I actually got rid of 5 of the questions in the tag! Thanks for reading lovelies and have a fab weekend. I might post some pictures tomorrow of my day because I am going to a lovely Christmas market and I am super excited for that because I go every year and it makes me feel all Christmassy! Love Claudia

Essie Nail Varnish Review

AH!
-
This post was not on my to-write list, but yesterday I brought two Essie nail varnishes! It was a
pretty random buy but i do NOT regret it! I have wanted Essie for a while now and when
two colours caught my eye in Boots, i just new i had to have them. The two colours i got are 'Imported
Bubbly' and 'Sweet Talker'. Imported bubbly is a gorgeous shade of white and sweet talker is
a really pale blue. I know these colours are very spring, however yesterday i brought a dark green
Rimmel varnish which is super Autumnal. I really shouldn't buy a lot of nail varnish as i find myself wearing false nails all the time. I am actually wearing some black ones right now.
-
So anyway these nail varnishes are expensive at about £8.95 as bottle but the colours are
so pretty and sweet, perfect for spring/late winter. The blue is actually a really pale shade
kind of like an icicle so this would be really nice for a winter day when it
is snowing. Tomorrow it is the start of half term (finally) so i will be doing some
OOTD posts and what i did posts. I might post more than one a day so be prepared. Also
tonight i am going out so i will be doing a make up and outfit post! Thanks for reading,
Love Claudia
