Sleek Blushes

Hey guys!
-
I feel like I have been doing quite a few posts focusing on high end brands recently so I am going for a cheaper brand today - Sleek. I love Sleek but I am always a little stuck for choice when I am stood at the Sleek stand in Superdrug and it ends up a bit of a pressure buy (buying the first product you see), so today hopefully I will give not only myself some much needed inspiration but also you guys!

Life's A Peach is my favourite colour in this collection of blushes because it could be used as a bronzer if you have fair skin like myself or blush and I think it would look lovely with a tan on holiday or if you have naturally more tanned skin then it would look lovely too.
Pixie Pink is a beautiful spring colour a little like Nars Desire and Benefit Dandelion. I love the colour that you get with this blush because sometimes with blushes like this can lack in colour but this blush exceeded my expectations as it gives a natural solid pink sheen.
Rose Gold is another one of my favourite Sleek blushes because of the stunning sparkle that it has. It would probably suit darker skin than fairer skin because it has red undertones.
Antique is a beautiful plum colour that again I think would suit darker skin tones. It also has similar sparkle like 'Rose Gold' has.
Pomegranate is a beautiful dark reddy/pinky colour that would look amazing in autumn with a berry lipstick and MAC's Cranberry on the eyes. I think this would be a really striking colour if you have fairer skin and a soft colour if you are tanned.

Thanks for reading and I hope you all get some inspiration from this post and find a blush that you like. Sleek blushes are all excellent quality and they have beautiful packaging similar to Nars.

Essie Spring Colours

Hello everyone!
-
I am doing another nail varnish post today because I am really into all these spring colours at the minute. Essie is a brand that I love but I really don't have the money to spend £7 on a nail varnish - and that is the main reason I go to Barry M instead, but if I could spend this money on the nail paints then I would. I have 2 spring colours from Essie already but I really would love some more so here are a few of my favourites.
-
-
Barbados Blue is not really a spring colour but it's still a really nice cool blue colour that I think would look really contrasting with some white skinny jeans.
Mint Candy Apple is a colour that I have wanted for a while because it's a really pretty mint green colour a lot like a colour I brought from Barry M recently featured in one of my hauls I did a while ago.
Van D'Go is a light, peachy-pink nail varnish that is a little pinker than Peach Melba which is a similar colour from Barry M.
Go Ginza is a soft cherry blossom colour that represents luxury and class in a blend of baby pink and cool lilac.
Lilacism is an elegant and enchanting lilac colour that's a really pretty soft colour.

Well I hope you guys liked my last few posts and also I hope you like my new blog look. I apologise for the pages on my blog not working but I am working to fix this for you guys soon because I have recently updated my wishlist page!

Barry M Nails

Aloha everyone!
-
I am very very excited to be writing my 100th blog post today - it seems like just yesterday I started this blog! A quick thank you to all my lovely amazing readers for commenting and reading! Anyway on with the post! This is a collection of my favourite Barry M nails varnishes for each season.
-
-
Baby Pink is such a pretty spring pastel colour I adore. It's one of my favourite spring colours and reminds me of Tanya Burr's Mini Marshmallows nail varnish.
Tangerine is actually a colour that I brought a few weeks ago and I have had it on my toes for a while now and it hasn't chipped at all! I would wear this with an orange cami and white skinny jeans just like one of my outfits in my post from Wednesday- My Spring/Summer Lookbook.
Berry Cosmo is a gorgeous autumn colour that is almost the same colour as my snood I wear in autumn because it's a deep berry colour just like this nail paint.
Black is a colour I would wear on my nails in winter with a little black dress in the evenings or with a parka, cami and skinny jeans in the day.
Red Glitter is a colour I would wear at/around Christmas time for a bit of festive glam and the sparkle in this polish is even and visible.
-
I am pretty sure that there is a 3 for 2 offer in Boots and most of these nail polishes are £1.99-£2.99 and there are a few different ranges such as textured and gelly. I love these nail varnishes and I always finish my nails with my Elegant Touch Rapid Drying Spray which is super easy and effective.

Thank you for reading my 100th post and I can't wait for my 1st Blogiversary that's coming up in a couple of months!

Spring/Summer Lookbook

Hi guys!
-
This is a bit of a different post today. I recently joined Polyvore which is a photo creating and sharing app/website where you can create images using a wide range of provided images from different collections such as 'Home', 'Beauty', etc. Unfortunately because they are from Polyvore I can't give you the names, brands or prices but I am using these collections for inspiration when shopping for summer clothes.
-
So at the top there I have put a daisy crop top and some high waisted denim shorts. I have paired this with a tan bag and some earrings, then some retro round glasses and a pastel pink blush and lip gloss. Then I have the perfect evening look featuring an orange camisole and some white jeans with a white clutch bag, a silver necklace. I paired this look with an orange blush and nail polish because I think with a tan the blush would look gorgeous and the nails would look amazing against the white trousers. Next I have a look you could wear for say a lunch out with a light tan bag and pale pink make up such as a light pink NARS blush, Topshop lipstick and Bobbi Brown nail varnish. I put a cropped, sleeveless white top and a gorgeous pair of cream shorts with little coral and blue flowers on them. Finally gym style outfit with a grey cropped t-shirt and dark grey shorts. I would use very little make up with this outfit - like a lip balm and powder. I also put a beanie, some brown pilot shades and a Jack Wills gym bag.

The look in the top corner is my travelling outfit which consists of a white cami and denim shorts with a brown suitcase and sunglasses. I keep the make up very simple a nude lip and a Bobbi Brown nail varnish finished with a bronzing brick type product. The next outfit is a gorgeous white dress with white heels. I thought I could put this outfit with reds so a strong red lip and red nails with a red phone case and silver watch. Next is a white crop top and tartan skirt with some white high tops. I put this look with a rose gold watch and a pretty white hair bow then a large black bag and pink lip. Finally I took a sleeveless white cami and tucked it into a pair of nude/pink shorts and paired it with some golden sandals. I then used the same rose gold watch and a nude/tan bag with some pale pink earrings and some gold jewelled hair grips. I again kept the make up simple with a pink Bobbi Brown lip gloss and a Chanel perfume.

I hope you guys liked this look as it's a little different to the usual beauty post but I really wanted to share my spring/summer looks with you! Thank you for reading and follow me on Polyvore at http://claudiabullockx.polyvore.com/.

NARS Blush Dupes

Hey guys!
-
As promised here is my Nars blush dupes. Sorry for the short introduction I just really wanted to get into this post!
-
-
NARS Taj Mahal/NYX Golden Orange, NARS Desire/NYX Pinky, NARS Super Orgasm/MAC Springsheen, NARS Amour/NYX Dessert Rose
-
I think NARS Taj Mahal is a beautiful colour that would be perfect for a holiday and NYX Golden Orange is slightly brighter but still a warm blush with orange undertones. NARS Desire looks like a very bright colour like MAC Stay Pretty blush but it's actually a very pretty pale shade of pink perfect for spring. NARS Pinky looks pretty different to this colour but when you try is on it is very similar. NARS Super Orgasm is a colour that I am in love with and I would love to buy it one day when I have the £21.50 to spend on one blush but for now the £18 MAC Springsheen looks like the most perfect match to the NARS blush. Finally NARS Amour is just a little darker than Super Orgasm and it's not a glittery but it's still a deep shade of pink that looks a lot like NYX Dessert rose which is also a dark pink blush that I would love for Autumn.

So, comment your guys favourite dupe from this post! I love reading your comments so thank you for all of the lovely messages.

5 MAC Lipstick Dupes 2

Hi guys!
-
This is my second MAC dupe post today and as promised here is my nude type colour dupes such as Creme in your coffee, Creme cup, Snob, Modesty and Chatterbox. These are a few of my favourite MAC colours and they are all pretty similar. I think these dupes are not as accurate as my other ones but they are still cheap and close to the MAC colours.
-
-
Left to right - Creme Cup/2 True Shade 5, Snob/Bourjois Beige Trench Shade 2, Chatterbox/Collection Little Mix Jade, Creme in your coffee/B. Shade 21, Modesty/B. Shade 41
-
So the first colour is Creme Cup is a lot lighter when you see it in a store than it appears on the website. Here it looks like quite a dark pink nude colour quite a lot like blankety which is one of the first MAC colours that I ever brought. I think this dupe is a little more glittery than than the actual colour but the tone is pretty similar. Snob is a colour that I would love to try one day but it has purpleish undertones which I don't think would compliment my fair skin. The dupe picture isn't brilliant because you can't see the full colour but as you can tell it's like a dark pinkish colour like the MAC version. MAC Chatterbox and the Collection Little Mix Jade lipsticks are quite similar which is more pink than the other colours but still beautiful summer shade that would suit most skin tones. MAC Creme In Your Coffee is a beautiful creamy nude colour just a little lighter than Creme Cup and I would say it's closest dupe is the B. Shade 21 lipstick from Superdrug. Finally MAC Modesty is quite similar to Creme In Your Coffee but has more brown undertones. The dupe I chose that was closest to this colour which is another B. colour in shade 41 from Superdrug that has a similar tone.

Thank you for reading this post and I hope you enjoyed all the dupes today and I will be doing some NARS dupes tomorrow!

5 MAC Lipstick Dupes

Hi guys!
-
I first off want to apologise for not posting yesterday. Well first my brother was ill when we were supposed to be staying at my grandparents house for the weekend as my parents were going to see Lee Nelson (the comedian), but because my brother was ill I ended up going in his place. We left at half past five and then came back at ten so I had no time to find the dupes and then write this post, but I am now! Anyway I have been finding closest drugstore dupes to 5 MAC lipsticks and not to toot my own horn but I think I did pretty well. Three of the dupes are from MUA for £1 which which you can find in Superdrug, and the others are from Collection and Rimmel London.
-

-
Left to right - MAC Impassioned/Rimmel Vogue, MAC Dangerous/Collection deluxe shade 1, MAC Saint Germain/MUA shade 4, MAC Sunny Seoul/MUA Shade 11, MAC Shanghai Spice/MUA shade 16
-
I think the closest dupe I got was MAC Saint Germain and MUA Shade 4 as these colours are both really pretty pastel pinks. I think I also matched  MAC Shanghai Spice and Sunny Seoul pretty well with two MUA colours both with similar orangey undertones. MAC Dangerous was pretty difficult to match because there are so many different shades of red available at the moment because everyone loves a classic red lip after the SS14 catwalk when a strong red lip made a few appearances, but this Collection dupe was pretty accurate because it was a little darker than the usual red lips like Russian Red, so it matched Dangerous perfectly. Finally MAC Impassioned is a colour that I have never seen before so I am surprised it hasn't caught my eye in the MAC store. Anyway I found a pretty similar Rimmel dupe in the colour Vogue that I think is the same kind of hot pink colour but it has more shine too it that the MAC colour.
-
I hope you guys liked my dupes and even thought these colours took me quite a while to match it was quite fun writing this post so please comment any more dupes you would like to see! Thank you for reading.
