Mascara Round Up

Aloha everyone!
-
I realised that after scouring Yahoo Answers there were a lot of questions about mascara's and what the best high end and best drugstore products were on sale so I thought I would give my take on the best mascara's, high end and drugstore.
-
This one has been my favourite for a while because of the amazing volume it gives my lashes. It almost gives a false effect which I love for nights out, also there are zero clumps so it works great if you like a natural look aswell.
(Colossal Volume Mascara)
This is a similar mascara but this one is hyped about a lot more than colossal volume. This one is the Rocket mascara and it has such a large wand with tiny teeth but plenty of them for a full effect and minimal clumps. I don't find that this mascara gives as great length as the colossal volume mascara does but I still love it for an everyday mascara.
(The Rocket Mascara)
You might have seen this in some of my videos/posts before because this is my go to mascara every morning for a fresh but popping look on the eyes to complement my eyeshadow and liquid liner.
(Clinique High Lengths Mascara)
This mascara is a new discovery and the very first thing I loved about this product was the spiceberry coloured matte packaging giving the product a high end feel. The other thing I loved was the curved wand. It really helps extend the length of the lashes and it's really is a 'does what it says on the tin' product because it defies the dreaded clumps day in day out.
(Clump Defy Mascara)
I haven't met one person that dislikes this mascara. It really does give a fake effect without leaving specks of black on my face or leaving clumps on my lashes. It gives an elongated effect without appearing false and this is one of my favourite mascara's of all time.

Favourite High End Products Of 2013

Good evening everyone!
-
Well I am going back to school tomorrow so I need to get my make up sorted and whilst looking through there were a few high end products I received this year that I love so I thought I would share them with you guys!
-
If you are a regular reader you will know that I adore this lipstick because it's the very first MAC lipstick I ever brought. I always get comments on this colour when I pull it out my make up bag because the colour really is gorgeous. It's quite a dark pink colour so it doesn't wash you out like most nudes, and it's very subtle when it's on. It isn't that matte however if my lips are flaky (which they rarely are) it can tend to cling a bit but a bit of gloss sorts that out.
(MAC Blankety Lipstick)
If you saw my haul post you will have seen me mention this blush. I love this blush because the colour is so spring/summer however it also gives a lovely fresh glow in winter too. I would repurchase this over and over again however I do like trying out different colours with blush so I would perhaps try dolly mix next time. The only downfall with this product is you have to apply quite a lot to get a good colour however it is build-able and not cakey at all.
(MAC Stay Pretty Blush)
This is the only product in this post that isn't MAC! This primer is so amazing and I would recommend to everyone - whatever your skin type. I have quite oily skin but it doesn't at all increase that. It sinks into the skin well and gives me a nice base coat that doesn't make my foundation settle on top of my skin with visible brush marks.
(Clinique Superprimer)
These paintpots are my new favourite thing! I adore this product because unlike other cream products I have tried it is blendable and buildable however it maintains a beautiful colour. I would repurchase this very colour because it is so beautiful however I don't know if I would apply one colour paintpot then another colour paintpot over the top because I think they would mix quite a bit creating a bit of a strange colour but as a base with a powder eye shadow as well they are great.
(MAC Paintpot In Bare Study)
Finally another one of my Christmas presents. I pretty much liked my Rimmel Stay Matte powder however with finding my skin getting more and more oily since using the much more fluid Rimmel Match Perfection foundation I wanted a better coverage powder. This powder gives amazing coverage and I think in a day I might re-apply this product about twice which is really good seeing as my previous powder would need about four applications a day.
(MAC Studio Fix Powder)

So comment your guys favourite high end product of 2013! I have just loved MAC in 2013 and probably will increase my collection this year. Thank you for reading!

5 Favourite Drugstore Products Of 2013

Hola everyone!
-
This post has been really hard for me to think what products to feature because as I am getting older my parents buy a lot less make up for me and as I am a teenager I don't have that much money for myself, so I find myself shopping for more and more drugstore products. By the way in the title I don't mean products released in 2013, I mean products that I found out about, purchased and used in 2013. Well enough rambling, let's get started!
-
I went shopping for a drugstore foundation after finding I had almost used up all of my No7 Beautifully Matte foundation and I ended up with this. To be honest, first off I wasn't a fan, but as I got used to using this foundation I actually really liked it and it was really easy to blend because it's so fluid. It gives really good coverage and it is also pretty inexpensive at around £7.
(Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation Shade 2)
If you guys saw one of my very first reviews you will know that I love this concealer. Because I had used poor coverage ones before this concealer seemed incredible! I know everyone loves the Collection concealer but I really can't seem to find a colour to suit me, but this colour is perfect. Sure you have to re-apply sometimes but it blends easily and smoothly and doesn't crease.
(Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer Shade 1)
After getting my hair cut and coloured (see 'New Hair!' post) I found that red/wine coloured lipstick suited me a lot more and I found this lipstick at the bottom of the pile as I always thought I was too bright and daring before, however now I love this lipstick! I think it's such a pretty colour and it also has a little bit of glitter in it so you don't really need a lipgloss over the top. (Rimmel Lipstick 010)
I never could apply liquid liner or gel liner because I found that liquid liner would be too tricky and gel liner would stick and crease, however this marker style liner is really simple to apply and gives great precision. I still don't do winged liner that often but I do apply a gradual line on my top lash line.
(No7 Stay Precise Liner)
I'm not really sure if you would call these drugstore products but these are my favourite brushes of all time! Left to right - Powder Brush, Stippling Brush and Shading Brush. I have now literally ran out of space in the jar I store my brushes in! The brush from this brand I want next are is the brush that Tanya Burr uses for her highlighter!

Well thanks for reading guys and comment below some of your favourite drugstore products of 2013! Also make sure to re follow my blog on blog lovin using the icon on the right as I had to start my account again after changing the blog name!

MAC Palette

Happy Friday!
-
My next post to write on my list was about my MAC palette. Mine is a quad palette containing the colours Orb, Naked Lunch, Sketch and Sumptuous Olive. Also today I used a different camera so hopefully the pictures will be a little better than usual! I was getting a few emails from my subscribers yesterday asking if I would do a post on my MAC palette so as promised here it is!
-
Excuse the dressing gown, and you can't really tell here but I am actually wearing the MAC Bare Study Pro Longwear Paintpot that I have actually done a review of.
So this is my palette and as you can see it is a quad with the colours Sketch, Sumptuous Olive, Orb and Naked Lunch.
Here is another picture and as you can see Orb and Sketch are a little less pigmented than Sumptuous Olive and Naked Lunch, and I would even say Orb is almost a matte color.
So these re fill pans are £10 each and left to right the colours are - Sumptuous Olive, Sketch, Orb and Naked Lunch
-
p.s I have changed the name of my blog to All That Sparkles so I hope you guys don't mind I just thought Bit Of Loveliness didn't really flow so there you go!
Thank you for reading and comment below your favourite MAC eyeshadow colour!

Q and A

Hi everyone!
-
Yesterday on google+ I said I was going to do a Q&A and to email, message or comment some questions and so many of you emailed me lots of questions! So let's get started.
-
1. What cleanser do you use? from Hannah J
I actually have used quite a few different ones over the years but at the moment I am using Neutrogena oil free visibly clear face wash, the orange one
.
2. What posts are you going to write? from Lliv111
Well on my google+ account I have actually written a list on my phone of all the posts that I am going to write. Follow the google follow link on the right hand side of the page by clicking on the 'g' picture to see it!

3. Favourite foundation you have ever use? from Meg
I would say for me the best coverage foundation I have ever used is the No7 Beautifully Matte foundation, I actually prefer this to the Bobbi Brown foundation because even though it is a little thicker and maybe difficult to blend in it gives such a great matte finish.

4. Everyday make up routine? from MeganDoll
I was going to put this video up the other day but I couldn't upload it so that will be coming up soon!

5. Good drugstore concealer? from Aliceisinwonderland
I love my rimmel wake me up concealer and also the collection concealer is talked about a lot but I brought the wrong colour so I think I will have to repurchase that!

6. Which city do you live in? from Pia
I live in Nottingham which is about 1 hour away from Birmingham

7. Please do a room tour? Anonymous
I will definatley film a room tour later this month after I have given it a good clean!

New Hair!

Happy new year everyone!
-
I hope you all had lovely days yesterday and are enjoying the new year so far! If you didn't see my google+ post yesterday, I told you all that I was getting a hair cut and I did! I got about 3 inches cut off and a gloss colour on top in a chocolate brown colour fading into my natural blonde colour giving an ombré effect. I really love it so I thought I would post a few pictures today! It was cut and coloured at Toni&Guy and cost around £100 for eveything.
-

So as you can see it's a pretty big change length wise, but the colour is very subtle! Tomorrow I will be posting a few looks with my MAC palette! I'm really excited to write that post so get ready for that post tomorrow!
